Farm Day

On Friday, we took the children to the farm in Saft-Alaban. We rode on a wooden wagon powered by a horse. Resting under a few trees, the children told us some stories. After gathering some fresh vegetables from the fields, we ate some tameyya, eggplant, and cheese, and washed all that down with some sweet tea. We laughed, we played, we ran along the green fields, we sang and we danced together under the hot June sun. And we didn’t forget to teach the kids about what they saw and felt about everything around us at the farm. The activity days always have many surprises and lots of fun.
